The Member of Parliament for Kupe Muanenguba I and III, Hon. Cecilia Dione Epienjumbe has encouraged women in her constituency and donated gifts to boost their morale and support their empowerment.

On March 8, 2026 during the celebration of the 41st International Women’s Day, the MP donated gifts to women’s groups in Tombel and Bangem.

Here’s her message to women as they savour the euphoria of women’s week..
As your representative in Parliament, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible work you do every day. Your tireless efforts as farmers, mothers, and community leaders are the backbone of our society.

As we continue to celebrate women, I want to acknowledge the challenges you face, particularly the scourge of gender-based violence. Let me assure you that I stand with you, and we will continue to work towards a society where every woman can live without fear.

Your hard work in the farms, bringing food to our tables, and nurturing our communities is invaluable. Keep shining, keep pushing!

To my sisters, let’s stand together, united and strong. Let’s love and support each other, because together, we can achieve greatness.

As we mark this special period to celebrate women, remember that you are valued, you are respected, and you are capable of greatness. Keep breaking barriers, keep achieving, and know that I am here with you, every step of the way.
