The Sub Section President of Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, CPDM Nninong II, Dr. Akale Ramsom Sone, has emphasized the importance of party unity and mobilization for the development of Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Bangem.
In a Paper Presentation at the 41st anniversary celebration of the party in Bangem, March 24, 2026, Dr. Akale talked on “The Importance of Party Unity and Mobilization in CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Bangem”

He noted that unity is the foundation upon which great nations and parties are built, explaining that party unity is the cornerstone of effective governance and electoral success as it enable political parties to present a cohesive front, mobilise voters and pass legislations efficiently.

According to the Sub Section President, a united party increases its chances of winning power, foster internal discipline and build trust. “In Kupe Muanenguba, we have a rich cultural heritage, with diverse ethnic groups and communities. Our unity is not just a strength, but a necessity and a must. When we stand together, we can overcome any challenge, seize opportunities, and achieve greatness.”
Dr. Akale quoted the Senior Divisional Officer of Kupe Muanenguba, Nguia Beina Theophile, who once said, “Unity is the key to development.” “My dear people of K/M, let us embrace our diversity and use it to fuel our progress, within our CPDM Party and even beyond.” He added.
Also, Dr. Akale disclosed that mobilization is the life-blood of any political party, as it engages members, supporters, and the broader community in their vision and objectives.

He said mobilization can take various forms especially during crucial elections like the just ended October 2025 presidential election, and the forth coming municipal and parliamentary elections.
According to him, mobilization involves social media campaigns and propaganda, targeted messaging and fundraising.

“As party comrades and leaders, we must mobilize our resources, energies, and talents to drive our agenda forward. We must engage our youths, women, and men in our decision-making processes, ensuring that everyone has a stake in our success.” He added.
He highlighted on the achievements of the CPDM in Kupe Muanenguba I, including improvement in road networks, agricultural development, and women’s empowerment, attributing these successes to President Paul Biya’s leadership.

It should be noted that the ceremony took place under the supervision and coordination of H.E. Professor Elvis Ngole Ngole, Head of the CPDM Central Committee Permanent Delegation to Kupe Muanenguba.
