The Senior Divisional Officer of Kupe Muanenguba, Nguia Beina Theophile, has launched the 2026 state budget of the division worth FCFA 5.786.770.000 (five billion, seven hundred and eighty-six million, seven hundred and seventy thousand).

The launching and orientation ceremony of the state budget took place on March 2, 2026 at the Bangem Council Hall.
In his opening address, Nguia appreciated all stakeholders for successfully executing the 2025 state budget. He however frowned at contractors who failed to execute projects within the division in 2025 that is retarding development.

The SDO cited the case of Nguti Council where four contracts handed to one contractor in 2025, are still at 0 (zero) percent execution rate.
He instructed the Mayor, Tong George Enoh to get the contractor execute these projects else serious sanctions will be taken against him.

Nguia was also bitter at the rate of unexecuted projects in the division and disclosed that in the days ahead, he will head a commission to the field to supervise all projects awarded in Kupe Muanenguba.
The SDO called on state engineers to work hard and accompany councils to ensure that by April, all projects for 2026 must have been launched.

He said in 2026 some lapses recorded in previous years must be handled. He mentioned the late consumption of credit by some vote holders, non-production of monthly management account, consumption of credit cards by some vote holders without considering their collaborators, amongst others.

In the various presenters, the Divisional Finance Controller, Mukete John Nangeli, talked on the finance circular instructions relating to the execution, follow up and control of the execution of the 2026 state budget.

The Divisional Chief of taxes, Mua Emmanuel presented on Fiscal Innovations.

Meanwhile the Divisional Treasurer, Andeh Dieudonne talked on innovations in the treasury and customs department of the division.

Also, the Divisional Delegate of Planning, Economy, and Regional Development, MINEPAT, Ntoi Eugene Nja presented on the Public Investment Budget. He said for 2026 Kupe Muanenguba has a grand total financial allocation of FCFA 5.786.770.000 (five billion, seven hundred and eighty-six million, seven hundred and seventy thousand).

He said this amount is for the execution of 52 projects under divisional, regional administration, regional assembly, and central administration vote holding.
Nimumingo Francis Mbegheh, Divisional Delegate of Public Contracts, MINMAP, talked on the contractualization process.

The ceremony ended with general discussion and exchanges.

Also present at the ceremony was the Divisional Officers of Bangem, Nguti, and Tombel, the Mayors of Bangem and Nguti, representative of the Mayor of Tombel, Divisional and Sub Divisional Delegates, service heads, amongst others.
