Nteho II Cultural and Development Association, NTECUDA, in a show of unity and determination, has raised funds to drive development and improve the quality of life for community members.

This was the outcome of a three day General Assembly and Fund Raising Meeting that took place from April 8 to 11, 2026 in Nteho II, Bangem Sub Division, Kupe Muanenguba Division.

In his address, the President General of NTECUDA, Julius Njume hailed sons and daughters of Nteho II for their development initiatives.

He disclosed that the association has successfully executed several community projects over the years such as, the completion of the electricity project, the school toilet project which is already 70% (percent) to completion, the renovation of Government Practicing Primary School, Nteho II, water projects and others.

“Our focus now is the construction of a befitting community hall which will serve as a center for meetings, ceremonies and development planning for our people.” Njume added.

He encouraged elite at home and abroad to support initiatives that will improve social and economic well-being of their communities.

The President lauded the Ekanjume Foundation whose financial and moral support has been instrumental to many of their projects. “This foundation has been a major pillar in the village’s development efforts and it has supported our vision for years now.” He added.

Also, the Representative of the Chief of Nteho II, Ndume Mbessa commended NTECUDA for preserving the value of the community, while pursuing modern development goals. He assured them of the palace’s full support on its development.

Ndume said, one of their targets is the construction of some bridges within the village that will boost local development and economic activities in the area. He said they will work closely with the Bangem Council for this to be realized.

NTECUDA’s Delegate in Charge of Education, Rev. Godline Ebuh encouraged the people of Nteho II to remain committed to the progress of the village adding that, the association has over six branches including the diaspora. He disclosed that they are strategizing to have all sons and daughters of Nteho II participate in NTECUDA’s activities.

Earlier, one of the village elders, Mesumbe Robert Enongene encouraged the younger generation of Nteho II to preserve their culture, live in unity and peace while contributing towards the growth of the community.

Prize Award
As part of the AGM, NTECUDA awarded a certificate of recognition to Ekanjume Francis for his outstanding dedication, commitment and invaluable contributions to the development of Nteho II.

Also, the Ekanjume’s Foundation was recognized of its contributions to the development of the village.

The pioneer executive of NTECUDA headed by Ekane Linus, was honored and recognized for their leadership, selfless dedication and foundational role in the establishment, growth and development of NTECUDA.

Meanwhile the Mah Senge’s Foundation donated prizes to the best pupils from Class One to Six of GPS Nteho II.

Traditional dances, choral singing, libation spiced the event.
